Garon Wilkinson leads the Wushu (modern day kung fu) programs at Aries Sports Center and is an instructor of the San Da (Chinese Kickboxing) and Capo Fit (capoeira based) classes. He has been a practitioner of martial arts for well over 30 years having a profound background in wushu, capoeira as well as karate. After it was announced that wushu would be a part of the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Garon founded Bermuda Sanshou Association (BSA) where he currently serves as President and Head Coach after competing for a number of years in world and regional championships both in Wushu San Da and Wushu Taolu (forms). He has coached a number of Pan American champions and medalists at the World Wushu Championships as well as the Sanda World Cup. Garon also serves as an Executive Board member of the Pan American Wushu Federation (PAWF).
